How it all began…

We’re Sarah and Daniel, lifelong friends and the founders of Rise Bands.

The idea for Rise came from our very different struggles with waking up.

Sarah was working night shifts at a hospital in New York. After long, exhausting hours, she would finally crawl into bed in the early morning, only to be woken up again by neighbors’ alarms and street noise.

Meanwhile, Daniel, who was born deaf, faced the opposite challenge. Traditional alarms never worked for him. No matter how many devices he tried, he constantly struggled to wake up on time without relying on others.

During one late-night call, we shared our frustrations and realized something important: waking up shouldn’t be this hard for anyone.

So, when we finally met back home, we grabbed notebooks, sketched ideas, and started experimenting. What if there was a way to wake up naturally, silently, and reliably, without noise, without snooze battles, and without disturbing others?

After months of prototyping, testing, and learning from sleep experts, we created our first solution: a smart, silent alarm that works for everyone, even those who can’t hear.

In January 2024, we launched the very first Rise Band.

But that was only the beginning. Since then, with every customer story, piece of feedback, and real-world experience, we’ve made Rise Bands better, smarter, stronger, and perfectly tuned to your personal sleep style.

For us, it’s more than just a product. It’s a mission to help people everywhere rise with energy, freedom, and confidence, no matter their challenges.
